Insurance Assurance℠ August 2009 30 Years July marked my 30th year in the insurance business. As a college sophomore, I started working as a clerk at Brewer and Lord in Boston. When I graduated from Babson College, I moved to Pennsylvania to work at a small agency. Several years later I moved to Maine to join another small agency in Rockland. After learning a great deal there I was pulled to the big city of Portland to join one of the largest agecies in the Northeast, Morse, Payson and Noyes. A few years at a small agency in Kennebunk closed out my agency life about ten years ago when I started my consulting practice. This is a great industry. I am proud to say that I have convinced more than a few people to enter the world of insurance. I have taught insurance classes, worked with insurance regulators, and mentored many insurance professionals. I have served thousands of clients while holding the best job in the insurance world, as an insurance consultant. The truth is, that my clients are responsible for my success. Thank you all. I hope I make it for another 30 years. Just Published, 20 Biggest Business Insurance Mistakes - 4th Edition The fourth edition of my most popular white paper is now available.
